Position Overview

The Lead Financial Systems Consultant plays a crucial role in analyzing and enhancing various business system initiatives for The Ladders and its associated entities. This position collaborates with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment with the organization's core mission and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and support the financial systems and tools utilized by the organization, including ERP solutions, budgeting and forecasting systems, business intelligence tools, and financial reporting mechanisms.
  • Focus on the Finance department's ERP, ensuring effective use of the platform and reporting tools. Coordinate with developers and users to prioritize enhancements and deliver new functionalities. Manage administrative tasks and support both production and testing environments.
  • Enhance business analytics capabilities by developing new applications and visualizations in collaboration with end users and IT teams. Work on establishing additional key performance indicators (KPIs) with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of budgeting and forecasting models, ensuring they meet the needs of existing and new business lines. Facilitate annual data integrations between various systems.
  • Support additional business systems, including document management and asset management solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end users, creating informative communications to educate them on system features and benefits.
  • Conduct system evaluations, functionality reviews, and oversee new implementations or upgrades. Work on integrating new affiliates and services into existing systems, while seeking opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with all organizational levels to standardize metadata and master data governance across systems. Explore integration of data from various departments into analytics solutions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in ERP systems.
  • Proficient in NetSuite, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Financial Reporting tools.
  • Experience in implementing business analytics solutions such as Qlik or comparable platforms.
  • Familiarity with Adaptive Insights is preferred.
  • Knowledge of document management and expense management systems is a plus.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
