The Technology Services Administrator is a vital role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. This position entails overseeing the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of both data and telecommunication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Hardware Management:
- Install necessary upgrades and perform troubleshooting on equipment.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT personnel to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure proper disposal of equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain real-time updates of the asset management database.
- Video Conferencing Support:
- Set up and oversee video conferences for inter-office communication.
- Maintain and troubleshoot video conferencing equipment.
- Account and Equipment Provisioning:
- Provision and decommission network accounts as needed.
- Configure mobile devices and relevant applications.
- Image and provision new desktops and laptops.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve end-user technology issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with end-users, colleagues, vendors, and management.
- Adhere to best practices for hardware deployments and upgrades.
- Create and manage service tickets to track technology-related issues.
- Take ownership of escalated tickets from the help desk.
- Provide support for meetings, including video conferences and presentations.
- Maintain office Active Directory security and distribution groups.
- Comply with information security policies and procedures.
- Assist with various IT projects and initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Office 2016/365, and Active Directory.
- Experience in computer hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Internet protocols and remote access technologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Availability for 24x7 support as part of the IT team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Microsoft environment.
- Experience in medium to large organizational settings is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Work Environment:
- This position requires physical presence in the office during standard business hours.
- Emergency on-call support may be necessary outside of regular hours.
- Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 10% travel may be necessary for support and project-related activities.
- Occasional travel to assist with technology setups at local venues may be required.
