Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement will take charge of implementing and executing TEOA and Lean methodologies across multiple sites. This role involves supporting and mentoring local teams, facilitating cross-functional workshops alongside site teams, ensuring adherence to TEOA standards, and executing the strategic objectives of TEOA.
You will be expected to align with and propel TEOA initiatives, considering the entire Value Stream from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the rollout of the Operations Strategy. Collaborate with site leadership and TEOA teams to develop Current State and Future State Value Stream Maps (VSM) and a TEOA deployment strategy based on site assessments to meet plant performance goals. Identify and prioritize resources necessary for the deployment strategy; oversee, plan, and monitor the TEOA deployment across all sites. Conduct Star Level audits to evaluate TEOA tool implementation. Facilitate weekly site follow-ups on improvement initiatives as outlined in the deployment strategy. Organize monthly review sessions with Plant management and Continuous Improvement leadership to assess progress on deliverables and adjust the TEOA deployment strategy as necessary. Enhance employee knowledge at all levels by identifying training needs and coordinating training sessions on problem-solving techniques and TEOA improvement tools. Foster the development of a lean culture at both site and departmental levels. Share best practices and successfully demonstrated practices (SDPs) within the TE community. Lead improvement initiatives, implement pull systems, optimize layouts for workflow, and establish visual management systems on the shop floor. Drive initiatives for lot size reduction, management control, standard work, and kaizen events.

Required Qualifications:

Significant professional experience with a focus on production, logistics, or engineering, along with financial acumen. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives at a regional level (Lean Leader or equivalent role). Extensive hands-on experience in value stream mapping and the application of TEOA/Lean tools, with proven leadership in kaizen events across areas such as 5S+1, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover, and TPM. Proven ability to effectively collaborate with senior on-site leadership and TEOA leaders. Exceptional communication and coaching abilities across all organizational levels, from shop floor personnel to top management. Strategic thinker with a tactical execution mindset (i.e., delivering results). Strong project management capabilities with a comprehensive understanding of flow (both physical and economic). Analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to maintain a holistic view of complex situations and address challenges effectively. Experience in the automotive sector is preferred.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $138,800 - $208,200 (subject to change based on location)

• Salary ranges are provided in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, as well as internal and external equity.
