Job Title: Continuous Improvement Senior Manager

At TE Connectivity, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement Senior Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and deploying TEOA and Lean tools across our sites, supporting and coaching local teams, and leading trans-functional workshops with site teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the deployment of the Operations Strategy
  • Coordinate with site management and TEOA site team development at site-level Current State VSM, Future State VSM, and TEOA deployment plan based on TEOA Site Assessment
  • Discuss and develop the resources and priorities needed to support the deployment plan
  • Implement Star Level audits based on TEOA tool implementation
  • Hold site weekly follow-ups on the improvement projects as planned in the deployment plan
  • Hold monthly Review meetings with Plant management and Continuous Improvement Management to review the committed deliverables and adjust the TEOA deployment plan if needed
  • Increase knowledge to all levels of employees by detecting training needs and organizing training for problem-solving techniques and TEOA improvement tools
  • Manage lean culture development at sites and department level
  • Share Successfully Demonstrated Practices (SDPs) within TE Community
  • Lead improvement projects, deploy pull system on our site, implement layout for flow, Kanban, shop stock sizing, visual management at shopfloor level
  • Drive Lot Size reduction, management control, standard work, workshops/kaizen events
Requirements:
  • Extensive professional experience with focus on production, logistics, or engineering and financial knowledge
  • At least 8-10 years' experience in leading continuous improvement activities on regional level (Lean Leader or similar function)
  • Extensive hands-on and practical experience in using value stream mapping/MIFA improvement and implementing TEOA/Learn tools
  • Credibility and experience to work effectively and directly with the senior on-site leadership team and site TEOA leader
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from the shop floor to top management
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically (i.e., deliver results)
  • Strong project management skills, flow (physical vs economical) detailed understanding
  • Analytically minded and data-driven
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $138,800 - $208,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
