About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician II to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a key member of our GI Lab, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with procedures, utilizing effective clinical skills to ensure efficient and proper use of equipment and supplies.
  • Handle specimens, ensuring proper placement and labeling in conjunction with the RN caring for the patient.
  • Perform clinical actions as defined in annual competency and skills checklists, demonstrating competence in all areas of gastroenterology.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, taking instructions from supervisors and interacting with colleagues, patients, and vendors in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of GI experience required.
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
  • Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility, and department/unit.
