Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR matters across the assigned areas, including recruitment, performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and development. This role will work closely with the Sales, Engineering, and Finance teams to provide guidance, coaching, and development planning to both managers and associates.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the global employment market.
  • Create and maintain necessary documentation to support the hiring process.
  • Onboard new employees to ensure compliance with HR, safety, and quality policies and standards.

Talent Development

  • Work closely with managers to drive career development plans and career progression for associates.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to managers and associates on talent development and growth opportunities.
  • Identify training needs and assist in securing training for associates.

Employee Relations

  • Advise and counsel managers and directors on staffing and performance challenges.
  • Provide guidance to resolve disputes and employee concerns in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Interpret policies and procedures and render decisions.

HR Administration

  • Ensure proper administration of benefits and recognition programs.
  • Drive the salary appraisal process for consistency, fairness, and timeliness.
  • Ensure fair and equitable merit increase administration.

Retention

  • Develop and refresh retention strategies to retain top talent.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify retention risks and develop retention strategies.

Employment Practices and Labor Law

  • Stay up-to-date on changing employment laws at the state and federal level.
  • Educate the organization and managers on current employment practices.
  • Inform managers of pending labor law changes that may affect them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years human resources management experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of total experience in Human Resources.
  • Broad knowledge of fair employment, non-discrimination, and safety laws and regulations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft and ADP preferred.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $128,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits, 401K contribution and match, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and more are also included in the compensation package.
