Key Responsibilities:
  • Email Review and Resolution: Ensure timely and accurate resolution of patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Supervise Patient Access Staff: Lead and develop a team of patient access professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional patient experiences.
  • On-Call Supervisor Rotation: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide coverage during weekends, holidays, and off-hours.
  • Staff Rounding and Development: Regularly meet with staff to discuss performance, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Registration Support and Quality Review: Ensure accurate and efficient registration processes, with a focus on quality and patient satisfaction.
  • POS Collection and Reconciliation: Collect and reconcile patient payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • KPI Metrics Tracking and Development: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3+ years of medical office or hospital experience
  • 1+ years of supervisor/management or team lead experience
  • 1+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience
  • Ability to work on-site in Concord, CA
  • Ability to work any full-time, Monday – Friday schedule
  • Ability to work on-call Supervisor rotation during weekends, holidays, and off-hours
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of outpatient registration experience
  • 1+ years of healthcare scheduling experience
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations as they pertain to Emergency Department processes and procedures
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
