KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Estimation & Financial Planning:

  • Oversee the creation of both conceptual and detailed cost estimates for a variety of landscape construction projects, including hardscapes and irrigation systems.
  • Utilize historical cost data to refine estimates and ensure accuracy throughout the bidding process.
  • Thoroughly review project documentation to guarantee completeness and precision in all estimates.
  • Employ advanced project management tools to generate accurate takeoffs and comprehensive cost assessments.

Preconstruction Strategy:

  • Manage the entire bidding process for landscape projects, ensuring a thorough approach to preconstruction activities.
  • Participate in client meetings and site evaluations to document conditions that will inform project planning.
  • Formulate and execute a detailed preconstruction strategy, coordinating timelines, material needs, labor requirements, and equipment logistics.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Represent the organization professionally in interactions with contractors, clients, architects, and suppliers.
  • Provide expert advice on project feasibility and cost-saving measures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to secure favorable pricing and terms for project materials and services.
  • Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of materials and services while managing any arising issues.

Risk Management & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all estimates are precise and comprehensive, actively managing project risks to maintain budgetary constraints.
  • Monitor design processes to prevent cost overruns and ensure adherence to initial estimates.
  • Maintain accurate records of bids and project changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Continuous Development:

  • Utilize data insights to enhance estimation processes and improve project planning efficiency.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to uphold our leadership in landscape construction.

  • Proficiency with project management software; experience with Aspire ERP is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of landscape installation, hardscapes, and irrigation systems.
