Job Summary

Spartanburg Housing is seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation and modification of new and existing landscape project sites.
  • Direct the Prison Inmate Program and oversee the groundskeeping inmates.
  • Coordinate with maintenance regarding work order assignments.
  • Perform landscaping duties such as pruning bushes, raking leaves, cutting grass, mulching of properties, and removing trash.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED, with a minimum of five years of trade experience in landscaping work and at least one year in a leadership or supervisory capacity. Any combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the requirements of the position.

A valid South Carolina driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurability under Spartanburg Housing's automobile insurance plan are also required.
