Job Title: Account Relationship Manager

Stellar Industrial Supply is a leading industrial distribution company seeking an Account Relationship Manager to develop strong customer relationships and grow business, sales, and related services in the Indianapolis/Bloomington, IN area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple accounts within an assigned territory, ensuring high customer retention and satisfaction
  • Establish and implement sales growth plans for each customer and location
  • Gain consistent understanding of our Value Proposition and execute it
  • Provide value to customers, documenting cost savings and reporting back to the customer
  • Partner with local supplier representatives and Specialists to create value and improved efficiencies for all customers
  • Develop a pipeline of customer prospects through networking, referrals, research, and cold calling, utilizing our CRM (Proton AI)
  • Plan, organize, and schedule territory development
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
  • Mastery of Stellar systems and tools
  • Strive to constantly improve
Qualifications:
  • Passion for helping people solve dynamic problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret complex information
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Ability to listen effectively and interpret customer needs
  • Ability to prioritize workload and be detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel overnight, specifically for training and sales meetings
Experience:
  • 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing industry
  • Strong mechanical or technical aptitude is a plus
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
