Summary: At Power Wellness, we are dedicated to enhancing lives through exceptional service. Your role is vital in fostering health and wellness within the community. We partner with hospitals, healthcare systems, universities, and community colleges to deliver tailored fitness and wellness solutions.

As a Member Services Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring an outstanding experience for our members, guests, and potential clients. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive membership information, guiding enrollment processes, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while supporting membership growth and retention.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.

Manage all interactions at the service desk, including opening and closing operations, handling phone inquiries, processing transactions, registering guests, and providing information about activities and events.

2.

Effectively promote and sell memberships along with ancillary services such as personal training, massage therapy, medically-integrated programs, and nutrition services.

3.

Coordinate appointment scheduling using core business software, ensuring timely reminders and notifications.

4.

Understand and execute all opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer balancing and adherence to credit card and check policies.

5.

Accurately enroll members by explaining membership details, securing signatures, processing payments, and distributing member handbooks.

6.

Communicate effectively with all departments using radio communication as required.

7.

Work towards achieving established satisfaction metrics, including Secret Shops and Member Survey scores related to member and guest satisfaction.

8.

Maintain a minimum of 5 working shifts per month to ensure job proficiency.

9.

Be prepared to stand for extended periods, typically between 3 to 6 hours.

10.

Perform additional duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales, reception, and computer skills preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive, service-oriented approach to member interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Proficient computer skills.
