Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Sales Strategist to join our team at Michael Kors. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for executing regional sales strategies and seeking new opportunities to expand distribution across the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with accounts and key stakeholders to drive growth and consistency across all doors.
  • Implement regional business development strategies and proactively seek new opportunities to support the expansion of Travel Retail distribution in the region.
  • Lead regular business meetings with Travel Retail accounts; and implement trade actions to support business performance.
  • Analyze and present detailed trade reports and set KPI targets to proactively drive business growth and maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with Planning on OTB forecasting and deliver against targeted budgets.
  • Oversee all pre-, in- and post-market activities including but not limited to hindsight analyses; assortment build and order entry. Partner with Merchandising as well as global counterparts to maximize product opportunities.
  • Lead seasonal market appointments and confidently present brand product strategies to accounts and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Logistics and Finance to proactively resolve any shipping and finance issues and ensure timely deliveries of orders.
  • Oversee and manage the order book as well as accounts' stock levels; work closely with Planning on replenishment and trade actions to meet business demand.
  • Conduct regular store visits and support accounts with brand and product knowledge training.
  • Work closely with Visual Merchandising to ensure that all visual directives and standards are executed.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts across Travel Retail regions to understand and drive best practices and operational excellence.
  • Regularly analyze retail trends, competitors and product opportunities to inform regional strategies.
  • Demonstrate alignment with company values and confidently act as a Brand Ambassador.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree minimum or equivalent qualification in business; retail management, or a related field.
  • Extensive account management experience, with strong understanding of the Wholesale channel.
  • Proven track record of developing and growing business within Wholesale (Travel Retail experience preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong commercial acumen, with ability to interpret sales data and act on insights.
  • Dynamic presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skill, with ability to build strong cross departmental relationships.
  • Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities, and ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to travel.

  • Additional languages (Spanish preferred).
  • Experience in working with a remote team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo.

Compensation Range: $60,000.00-$100,000.00
