Job Title: Tax Senior Associate - Financial Reporting Expert

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Tax Senior Associate who can assist in preparing simple financial statements, reconciling bank accounts and tracing discrepancies, and reconciling subsidiary accounts to control accounts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting in the preparation and mailing of confirmation requests, scheduling confirmations returned, listing exceptions, and following up on their disposition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare simple financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts and trace discrepancies, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
  • Confirmation Process: Assist in the preparation and mailing of confirmation requests, schedule confirmations returned, list exceptions, and follow up on their disposition.
  • Inventory Observations: Perform or assist in inventory observations to ensure accurate recording of inventory levels and values.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: A degree in accounting is essential for this role, as it provides the necessary foundation in accounting principles and practices.
  • 0-2 Years of Accounting Experience: We are looking for candidates with 0-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Basic Accounting Knowledge: A good understanding of basic accounting concepts, including financial statement analysis and budgeting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies and errors.
Benefits:
