Lead Tax and Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced tax professional with 6-10 years of public accounting experience to lead complex tax engagements for privately held businesses and non-profit organizations.

This role offers a competitive $120,000 - $180,000 per year, comprehensive benefits package, paid CPE credits, and a hybrid work environment that promotes initiative, innovation, and teamwork.

About the Role:
  • Analyze and review financial data, including account reconciliations and journal entries, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and submit individual, corporate, and partnership federal and state income tax returns, as well as other required tax documents.
  • Conduct in-depth tax research, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on changing tax laws and regulations, ensuring seamless implementation and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement training programs, promoting staff growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA license preferred, but not required.
  • At least 5 years of current tax experience in a public accounting setting.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and CCH tax software.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and build professional relationships.
  • Prior experience working with multi-state and multi-entity clients is a plus.
