About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Programs Specialist II to join our team at the Detroit Land Bank Authority. This role requires a strong understanding of sales and programs policies, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the workflow and productivity of various sales and programs, including Own It Now, Auction, Side Lot, Neighborhood Lot, and Discount Programs.
  • Assist with coordination and implementation of events, including Semi-Annual Side Lot Fairs and monthly District Side Lot Sales.
  • Perform eligibility checks for various programs and provide support to customers.
  • Investigate and resolve client inquiries related to sales and programs properties.
  • Ensure compliance with all Detroit Land Bank Authority procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Fluent in Spanish with a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Urban Planning, Community Development, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of training in economic development, compliance, planning, real estate, or related experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work cooperatively with internal and external organizations.
