Welcome to Wayfinder Bishop, a charming retreat in Bishop, CA. Our property features 87 comfortable guest rooms and flexible meeting spaces, creating a cozy atmosphere for both guests and staff. Position Summary:
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for leading the Front Office team to ensure exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clear direction and communication to staff.
- Monitoring lobby activity and adjusting staffing as needed.
- Welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Managing the registration process efficiently.
- Promoting the Pyramid Hotel Group marketing initiatives.
- Assigning rooms based on guest preferences.
- Handling cash transactions and maintaining a balanced house bank.
- Addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage customer interactions with patience and diplomacy.
- Basic mathematical proficiency for handling transactions.
- Ability to operate a moderately complex computer system.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma is required, with some college preferred. While no prior experience is necessary, two years of combined front desk and supervisory experience is advantageous. All employees must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Additional Information:
Applicants with additional language skills are preferred. Please note that the hotel operates 24/7, and flexibility in scheduling may be required.
