We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Global Supply Chain team as a Co-op. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain strategy development and execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide oversight for category-critical tasks, including business continuity planning and supplier performance management.
  • Work with the category manager to be the focal point for Indirect Services requests for the Industrial Process value center.
  • Quoting parts, calling suppliers, and building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Track spend/usage, analyze, and propose improvements.
  • Create and maintain a sourcing list for indirect purchases.
  • Help establish metrics to analyze and rank vendors within their respective product category.
  • Identify value creation opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college and pursuing a business-related degree.
  • Excellent ability to analyze, model, and interpret large data with a methodical and logical approach.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Effective organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, customers, and partners.
  • Good knowledge/experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

You will obtain experience in supply chain strategy development and execution that result in bottom-line improvement of the organization. Our top Global Sourcing professionals will offer guidance and mentorship for each candidate, who will also get exposure to Engineering and other professionals.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25 to $35 depending on your degree program.
