About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Build Support Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a member of our Infrastructure Delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our data centers.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement global design standards, installation best practices, and product specifications for our infrastructure services. You will work closely with our engineering team to create and maintain these standards, as well as audit and inspect our data centers to ensure compliance.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for communicating with internal customers to describe features, technical designs, and strategy. You will work collaboratively with our construction managers to provide direct feedback on discrepancies and construction errors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global design standards, installation best practices, and product specifications for our infrastructure services.
  • Audit and inspect data centers to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
  • Communicate with internal customers to describe features, technical designs, and strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with construction managers to provide direct feedback on discrepancies and construction errors.
  • Identify and respond to risks and high-priority issues rapidly and effectively.
