Position Overview:
Our client is in search of a dedicated Full-Time ETRM Business Analyst to enhance the operations of a US-based LNG export facility, catering to the global demand for North American natural gas. This role is pivotal in fostering the sustainable development of clean and dependable energy resources in North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of energy trading and risk management practices across front, middle, and back office operations, particularly in natural gas and LNG trading and logistics.
  • Demonstrate expertise in natural gas and LNG contracts within the wholesale market, including gas pricing, nominations, scheduling, and transmission and distribution processes.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience with Endur (version 10 or higher), encompassing its architecture, essential modules, and data model.
  • Showcase proficiency in deal modeling, lifecycle management, and product configuration within Endur, including instrument creation, deal screen setup, template development, market data configuration, risk assessment, P&L reporting, accounting, invoicing, settlements, and reporting.
  • Design and recommend solutions to tackle business challenges and facilitate growth within the system.
  • Act as a conduit between business stakeholders and IT, gathering requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and collaborating with developers for implementation.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder relationships between Business and IT.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for the Endur production environment.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the system architecture.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of agile delivery methodologies and experience working within a global team, efficiently managing tasks, timelines, and progress reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance/Economics, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • At least 8 years as an Endur Business Analyst, supporting commercial commodities trading operations, with a preference for natural gas (LNG experience is advantageous).
    • Experience in collaborating with commercial IT teams to provide functional expertise and assist in technical designs.
    • Knowledge of trade operation infrastructure, interfaces, and ETRM front-to-back business and functional flow.
    • Proven capability to influence IT strategies by engaging stakeholders, articulating ideas, and challenging existing practices.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Endur or other ETRM systems, particularly in deal modeling, lifecycle management, market data, and P&L/risk reporting. SQL knowledge is an asset.
  • Extensive knowledge of North American natural gas and LNG trading, including both physical and financial aspects, gas scheduling, and front-to-back processes.
  • Strong understanding of Openlink Endur and related trade operation infrastructure.
  • Ability to swiftly comprehend complex gas and LNG value chain systems and their interdependencies across organizations.
Competencies:
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects, operations, and budgets within a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to lead or follow as necessary to achieve business objectives.
  • Strategic thinker with the capacity to see the broader picture while managing tactical details.
