About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our team at Baker Hughes Holdings LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and evaluating complex projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
  • Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
  • Communicate across direct organization, presenting to senior leaders and cross-functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
  • Connect the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions, working on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.
  • Presents solutions to customers and advise the benefits that will address customer pain points.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior application engineers and review their submittals for approval.
  • Understand Baker Hughes product line and apply value-added designs to address customer needs and requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in Engineering/Technology).
  • Minimum of 7 additional years of experience in Mechanical Component.
  • Minimum of 7 additional years of experience in designing wellhead equipment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to influence others and lead small teams, lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact, ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously, effective problem identification and solution skills, proven analytical and organizational ability.
