Job Summary

As a Mental Health Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and supportive services to children, youth, and families in their own community. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with families, communicate effectively, and provide crisis response and stabilization services as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and engage with families, communicating compassion, support, respect, and enthusiasm for their unique needs.
  • Provide and/or arrange necessary crisis response and stabilization services, completing and communicating the safety/crisis plan with family and others.
  • Prepare families for next steps in the intervention, such as team development, planning processes, natural supports, and more.
  • Customize helping approaches to fit each family's uniqueness, personality, culture, and interests.
  • Provide intensive and strength-based therapeutic mental health services and supports to children, youth, and families in the community.
  • Assess for immediate safety and stabilization needs, develop treatment plans, and evaluate current strategies, goals, and outcomes.
  • Brainstorm and negotiate strategies that build on child and family strengths.
  • Consult with clinical supervisors, mental health specialists, and others as needed, incorporating recommendations into practice.

What We Offer:

  • Starting pay range: $35.71 per hour
  • Additional pay/ability to earn additional pay of $1,800.00 per year for coverage after hours
  • Pay based on performance: up to $8,000.00 per year
  • Extensive training in multiple clinical approaches and other areas
  • Daily and weekly supervision and support with your Clinical Supervisor, as needed
  • 12 paid holidays, 3 weeks' vacation per year, 12 sick-days per year, medical, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, and retirement plans
