We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Educational Services. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing direct counseling and therapeutic support to students, working collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions to students, focusing on social-emotional support and therapy.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans, working closely with students, guardians, and other team members.
- Assess and address the needs of students with mental health challenges, including self-injurious behaviors.
- Administer and assess evidence-based measurement tools to track student progress and readiness for service conclusion.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to district policies and administrative regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including guardians, IEP teams, school staff, and community treatment team members.
- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Experience working with social-emotional at-risk youth and social-emotional support or therapy.
- Hold or ability to obtain an unrestricted Washington license (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW).
