Position Overview:

The Academic Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in collaborating with various university departments, including the registrar, provost's office, student finance, graduate admissions, and YU Global staff, to establish and maintain the course catalogue, academic policies, admissions guidelines, and the academic calendar essential for program implementation within the Yeshiva University systems.

Admissions Management:

  • Collaborate with our partner organization to facilitate an efficient admissions process.
  • Assess candidates for their fit and compliance with program standards.
  • Assist accepted candidates in navigating the university's enrollment procedures, including directing them to financial aid resources and ensuring class registration.

Enrollment Oversight:

  • Directly engage with prospective students to provide comprehensive program details and address their inquiries.
  • Organize, plan, and conduct informative webinars aimed at attracting and educating potential applicants.
  • Track enrollment statistics and devise strategies to achieve enrollment objectives.

Partnership Engagement:

  • Identify and connect with potential partner institutions to create collaborative 4+1 program opportunities.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with partner institutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with current partners and seek avenues for growth and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; a Master's degree or PhD along with academic administrative experience in a university environment is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in higher education administration, with a focus on admissions or program management preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in enrollment management and achieving enrollment goals.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of student financial aid processes and university registration systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Hubspot.

Compensation:

$70,000 - $80,000
