Job Title: Student Choral Ensemble Assistant

Job Summary:

The Ithaca College Choral Area is seeking a highly motivated and organized student to serve as a Student Choral Ensemble Assistant. This role will provide support to the Director of Choral Activities and Choral Area faculty in maintaining the highest level of attendance and participation in choral ensembles and performances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate attendance records for ensembles and communicate with students and faculty regarding music, scheduling, events, and participation.
  • Act as a liaison between students and professors, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Organize information related to student leadership opportunities and choral concert programming.
  • Assist with the organizational details surrounding the Ithaca College Choral Composition Competition and Festival.
Requirements:
  • Strong familiarity and involvement with the Choral Area at Ithaca College.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Students with Federal Work Study (FWS) eligibility.
