Job Summary

Cayuga Health System is committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Graduate Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Residency Program participant.

The Nurse Residency Program is a comprehensive training program designed to equip new graduate nurses with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their role. The program includes hands-on training, clinical skills development, and transition topics such as cultivating a healthy work culture, building resilience, and addressing moral distress.

As a Graduate Nurse in our Nurse Residency Program, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your clinical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will also have access to ongoing education and professional development opportunities to help you advance your career.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and families, identifying their needs and developing care plans to meet those needs.
  • Provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Active New York Nursing license
  • Associates Degree in Nursing
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
