Business Development Specialist

Mile High United Way is seeking a skilled Business Coordinator to support its United for Business (UFB) program. This exciting opportunity enables the selected candidate to contribute to the organization's mission by coordinating business consulting services, building partnerships with community and municipal partners, and engaging small businesses in under-resourced communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and coordination for UFB programs, ensuring timely delivery of services and excellent client outcomes.
- Collaborate with the UFB team to match business clients with skill-based volunteers, driving mutually beneficial relationships and economic growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local nonprofit organizations providing complementary services to UFB clients, fostering a collaborative ecosystem for business development.
- Partner with Mile High United Way's Evaluations and Learning team to understand program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
- Contribute to the creation of UFB collateral, reporting, impact stories, and other materials to promote the organization's work within the community.
- Possess a preferred degree in Business, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Have at least 1 year of experience as a program coordinator or related field, demonstrating expertise in business development and partnership-building.
- Bilingualism in English and Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, or Amharic is highly valued.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to multitask, and operate under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent oral communication and writing skills, including presentations, reports, and documentation.
$48,880-$52,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
