Job Description

Land-Link Traffic Systems Inc. is a fully integrated logistics and freight management company offering complete managed freight service solutions. Our core competency is assisting clients with consolidating and reducing freight costs. We provide our clients with methods, technologies, and operational support to generate process standardization, enhanced control, and efficiencies relative to shipping and receiving activities with a primary focus on LTL and FTL over-the-road transportation.

We also offer end-to-end freight payment services via our sister company Freight Payment, Inc.

  • Client-Specific Managed Service Solutions
  • Full Transportation and Logistics Outsourcing
  • Logistics Management Tools and Methods
  • Inbound and Outbound Freight Management Programs
  • Purchase Order and Customer Order Control
  • Multi-modal Services (truck load, less-than-truck-load, flatbed, rail, air, parcel etc.)
  • Freight Consolidation Metrics and Reporting
  • Freight Claims Processing and Settlement
  • Warehousing and Inventory Consulting and Support
  • Freight Payment

Our target client profile includes:

  • Corporate location and/or decision maker is physically located within Northeast U.S.
  • Primary point of contact is a C-suite executive or a representative of ownership
  • Primary focus on distribution within North America
  • Potential support of import/export where required
  • Palletized / unitized dry freight in TL or LTL quantities
  • Ideal Size of Company and Minimum Gross Margin Expectation:
    • Annual product sales Minimum Expectation = $10MM
    • Approximate 4% freight cost to sales assumption = $400K
    • Annual Gross Margin Minimum Expectation = $60K

We are seeking a Sales Executive with a strong track record of creating and cultivating client relationships. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant transportation/logistics industry experience
  • Minimum three (3) years selling LTL services
  • Relevant experience selling Managed Services (4PL) Solutions is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-Starter driven to produce results
  • Interest and adaptability to use and learn new software and technology
  • Team Player with the ability and desire to collaborate and achieve together
  • Able to demonstrate problem-solving ability
