Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at Jimmy John's. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all functions of the restaurant to ensure superior customer service and high-quality products are delivered when the General Manager is not on duty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Manage a staff of approximately three to 15 employees, provide on-the-job training, and delegate tasks to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
  • Inventory Management: Forecast and estimate the amount of each food item needed and consumed per shift, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that every customer receives world-class customer service, and resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers at all times during the shift, and complete daily and weekly paperwork.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Complete preventive maintenance and upkeep on store's equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Strong math abilities, proficient in using personal computers and software such as Excel and Word, and ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and have good vision.
