Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Support Specialist to join our team at Otterbein SeniorLife. As a Qualified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. You will work closely with our healthcare team to provide high-quality care to our residents, focusing on medication administration, personal care, and support with daily activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with preparing and administering medications as ordered by physicians
  • Observe residents' functioning, maintain written records of observations, and report any changes or concerns
  • Provide personal care services, including assistance with activities of daily living as needed
  • Answer medical alert calls promptly and professionally

Qualifications

  • Education: Must have completed a state-approved medication administration training program
  • Licensure: Active QMA certification in Indiana, CPR certification
  • Experience: At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice desired; long-term care experience preferred
