Job Title: Certified Peer SpecialistWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Peer Specialist to join our team at Nex Level Behavioral Health & Addiction Services, LLC. As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing peer support services to individuals recovering from mental health conditions.
About the Job:This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to helping others achieve their recovery goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mental health issues, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support and guidance to clients in achieving their recovery goals
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies and techniques for managing mental health symptoms
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and progress
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices in peer support
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling)
- Experience working in mental health settings, preferably in a peer support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Certification as a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months
The salary for this position is estimated to be $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
