Job Description

MedStaff Nationwide is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a Behavioral Health Specialist. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional behavioral health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Therapeutic Sessions: Provide expert care and support to patients through conducting therapeutic sessions, both in-person and via telemedicine, utilizing talk therapy to address their needs effectively.
  • Encourage Beneficial Activities: Encourage patients to engage in beneficial activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the most appropriate treatment plans for each individual.
  • Support and Referrals: Offer valuable information and unwavering support to patients and their families during the treatment process, and facilitate referrals to other agencies and services as needed.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate crisis intervention to patients in distress.
  • Collaboration and Record-Keeping: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
  • Ongoing Training and Development: Actively participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings to stay updated on best practices and enhance your professional skills.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Certification: Must be a licensed LCSW with a strong background in behavioral health.
  • Experience Working with Mental Health Issues: Proven experience working with patients impacted by mental health issues, including substance abuse disorders.
  • Composure and Empathy: Demonstrated ability to remain composed and empathetic when dealing with emotionally charged situations.
  • Treatment Planning: Proficiency in developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Crisis Intervention Techniques: Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and the ability to act swiftly and decisively during critical situations.
Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: $80,000-$85,000.00 DOE (New Grad- $70,000-$80,000)
