Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse ICU to join our team. As a vital member of our ICU staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prioritize age and specialty appropriate care of each patient assigned by communicating relevant information to appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Competently and accurately complete age appropriate comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessment of patients; takes nursing history assessment to identify nursing diagnosis/patient care needs.
  • Evaluate the patient/family response to, and outcome(s) of, implemented care and modifies the plan of care accordingly.
  • Implement and direct care, using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual Telemetry patients
  • Promote, initiate or coordinate interdisciplinary care provision in an open communication system with patients, nursing personnel, physicians, clergy, and with all other persons who influence patient progress.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
