About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for neonatal care to join our PICU team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill newborns and infants, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients in the NICU and Newborn Nursery, ensuring timely and effective interventions to address critical needs.
- Patient Education: Provide individualized education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to participate actively in their care and recovery.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based care plans, promoting a culture of teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
What You'll Need
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Certifications: Current RN license in Texas and/or current Compact License, BCLS certification required, NRP certification within 90 days of hire, STABLE preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of current NICU experience required.
