Registered Nurse Special Care Unit Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Special Care Unit team at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. As a member of our ICU team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our critically ill patients. With a focus on patient-centered care, you'll work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Special Care Unit, you'll be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and promote a safe and supportive environment for healing. Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities:
• Plan and prioritize age and specialty-appropriate care for assigned patients
• Competently and accurately complete comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients
• Evaluate patient/family response to implemented care and modify care plans accordingly
• Implement and direct care using the nursing process with emphasis on individual Telemetry patients
• Promote, initiate, or coordinate interdisciplinary care provision in an open communication system
