Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Communication: Greet patients professionally and courteously, both in person and over the phone, to ensure a positive first impression.
  • Administrative Support: Assist patients with check-in forms, maintain accurate patient records, and collect and process applicable payments.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm clinical appointments using our medical records platform, Medics Premier, and ensure orders are correctly scheduled.
  • Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance: Maintain and protect patient information by adhering to the HIPAA Privacy Rule.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist with administrative support in collaborating with internal departmental teams and notify technologists of appointment arrivals.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
  • Experience: Relevant prior experience working in a medical or office setting, with prior data entry/word processing experience.
  • Skills: Professional, positive customer-focused attitude, solid verbal communication skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
