Overview:

ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking a dedicated Finance Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily financial operations within the organization. The position requires on-site engagement at our facilities, ensuring a hands-on approach to financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the formulation and execution of financial objectives and priorities in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other financial operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Facilitates event financial settlements and reconciliations.
  • Leads the preparation of comprehensive financial reports and statements.
  • Manages the maintenance of accounting records, ensuring transparency in financial transactions.
  • Conducts cost analyses and financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinates internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial standards.
  • Implements and enhances financial systems and controls to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Engages in performance reviews and provides guidance to finance team members.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Duties:

This role involves direct supervision of finance department personnel, including responsibilities such as recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in financial management or public accounting at a supervisory level.
Skills and Competencies:
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and data protection.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet management.
  • Familiarity with commercial accounting software.
Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
Physical Demands:

The physical requirements of this role include mobility within the facility and the ability to stand for extended periods during events.
