IT Operations Manager

Role Summary:

The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the primary support and execution functions within the Enterprise Applications division of GIS. This pivotal position ensures that our users have access to a streamlined, effective, and user-friendly support system. The role is also accountable for leading the Continuous Improvement initiatives within the department, focusing on enhancing automation, monitoring, and analytical capabilities.

  • Guide, mentor, and cultivate high-performing IT teams, promoting a collaborative and results-driven work culture.
  • Manage multiple priorities and business needs effectively.
  • Develop and oversee the IT budget for the designated area.
  • Provide top-tier IT services through exemplary service level management practices, adapting to evolving business requirements.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • Experience in managing substantial contracts for managed services.
  • A background in Lean methodologies or Continuous Improvement.
  • The ability to bridge the gap between technical and business terminology.
  • Proven leadership experience in the IT sector.

Qualifications:

A degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
