About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Surgical Unit as a PRN (as needed) nurse. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care in line with the department's standards and state regulations. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. Your expertise and commitment will contribute to ensuring outstanding patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
Requirements:
  • BLS certification required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
  • Associate Degree from an accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred.

Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
