Job Description

The Scheduling Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient flow and optimal use of provider time. This includes greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting patient financial responsibility, and preparing patient charts.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, referring offices, and team members via phone, in-person, or electronic communication.
  • Greet patients and visitors with a smile, creating a warm and inviting environment.
  • Answer phones promptly, ensuring timely communication.
  • Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction and provider efficiency.
  • Prepare daily schedules for each provider.
  • Organize and maintain accurate patient charts.
  • Manage patient flow to minimize wait times.
  • Assist patients as needed, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Build strong relationships with referring offices, fostering trust and cooperation.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all patient information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
