Job DescriptionThe Scheduling Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient flow and optimal use of provider time. This includes greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting patient financial responsibility, and preparing patient charts.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, referring offices, and team members via phone, in-person, or electronic communication.
- Greet patients and visitors with a smile, creating a warm and inviting environment.
- Answer phones promptly, ensuring timely communication.
- Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction and provider efficiency.
- Prepare daily schedules for each provider.
- Organize and maintain accurate patient charts.
- Manage patient flow to minimize wait times.
- Assist patients as needed, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Build strong relationships with referring offices, fostering trust and cooperation.
- Ensure confidentiality of all patient information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of customer service experience.
