Job Title: Business Financial Coordinator

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

Polkinghorn Group Architects is seeking a highly organized Business Financial Coordinator to support our financial operations. As a business financial coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, managing cash flow, and maintaining company records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transactions: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, including invoicing and accounts payable.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date company records.
  • Payroll Processing: Process payroll with Sage50.
  • Inquiry Handling: Answer inquiries from staff, vendors, or clients.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and payroll processing.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills, including intermediate Excel skills.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Good phone etiquette and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least one year of accounting experience.
