Clinical Nurse Advisor

Position Overview: As a Nurse Consultant, your role will involve the collection, assessment, and interpretation of patient information to enhance care coordination, improve quality metrics, and achieve medical cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create thorough and detailed patient medical records.
- Research and compile information from various sources to form a cohesive and comprehensive view.
- Utilize clinical judgment to resolve discrepancies in information from different sources.
- Establish strong relationships with healthcare providers and staff, integrating seamlessly into multiple practices.
- Become proficient in our technology, providing training and support to healthcare providers and practice personnel.
- Exhibit persistence in following up with providers to ensure deadlines are met.
- Share clinical insights and best practices with fellow consultants.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in adult health, preferably in critical care settings such as ICU, CCU, or ED.
- Familiarity with Diagnosis, Billing, and Quality Measures Coding is advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with physicians and medical office staff.
- Understanding of health insurance structures, particularly Medicare and Medicaid.
- Technological proficiency is essential; a keen interest in software and technology is required.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently in a flexible environment.
- Willingness to travel for training and support as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
