Position Overview:
As a Clinical Staff Coordination Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the operations of the clinical department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the coordination of information systems and educational initiatives within the clinical department.
  • Ensure compliance with Board of Nursing standards.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Clinical Reimbursement team to enhance operational efficiency.

Daily Operations:
Manage and coordinate daily care management meetings, focusing on:
  • Reviewing resident care.
  • Setting the Assessment Reference date.

Regulatory Compliance:
Enforce accurate and timely resident assessments in accordance with State and Federal regulations, including:
  • Accurate coding of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) through comprehensive medical record reviews.
  • Data entry of resident information in compliance with company policies.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Coordinate care plan conferences with the interdisciplinary team, residents, and families to ensure holistic care delivery.

Education and Training:
Provide training related to the RAI/Care Management process, ensuring all staff are informed and compliant with current practices.

Quality Assurance:
Participate in quality assurance initiatives, ensuring:
  • Electronic submission of required documentation to the State database.
  • Continual updates to knowledge regarding data entry and computer systems.

Work Environment:
This position involves working in a standard office environment, where you may be required to:
  • Engage in various physical activities such as sitting, bending, and using a keyboard.
  • Occasionally lift medium to heavy objects.
