Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior HR Service Center Representative to join our centralized team. This role will serve as a strategic partner within the HR administration framework across the Atkore organization, aiming to enhance automation, ensure compliance, and standardize operational processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline, along with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in human resources. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or business system-oriented companies is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize relevant human resource management systems to guarantee timely and accurate processing of all employee-related events, including hiring, transfers, and promotions.
  • Execute administrative and recordkeeping functions concerning employment modifications, which may encompass schedule adjustments, layoffs, resignations, terminations, and leaves of absence.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners throughout the organization to manage employee data within HRIS platforms.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring up-to-date information regarding contact details, job classifications, pay rates, organizational structure, and other critical data.
  • Support periodic HR processes such as service awards, open enrollment, and annual merit evaluations.
  • Act as a communication conduit between HR and internal stakeholders regarding approvals, processes, and projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of pertinent HR experience.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related software, particularly UKG.
  • Adept at managing highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Capable of juggling multiple tasks simultaneously while demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong partnerships across various functional areas and convey complex information clearly.
  • Skilled in utilizing a range of computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Within the First 3 Months:
  • Complete the Atkore immersion program.
  • Understand how your role contributes to Atkore's strategic objectives.
  • Familiarize yourself with your team and key contacts.
  • Gain insight into the training materials and procedures managed by your team.
Within 6 Months:
  • Enhance the team's commitment to Atkore's core values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.
  • Establish a strong working relationship with your team and key contacts.
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy in a dynamic environment.
  • Compile and format complex reports and data from the HRIS system.
Within 12 Months:
  • Become a leader within an efficient team that supports Atkore's strategic initiatives.
  • Manage intricate employee structure changes while understanding Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Oversee the administration of eligibility, enrollment, and termination of fringe benefits.
  • Conduct audits of employee benefits and other compliance-related internal and external reviews.
  • Engage daily with your team and key contacts to identify enhancements to standard work and training materials.
