Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and communicate service needs, promote routine maintenance, and follow up on unsold services and customer inquiries.
  • Provide clear explanations to customers regarding service recommendations for regular maintenance. The Service Advisor aids in diagnosing mechanical issues through customer interviews and visual inspections.
  • Create repair orders detailing time and labor estimates for suggested services, maintaining ongoing communication with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, respond to customer calls, and process payments for services rendered. The Service Advisor coordinates alternative transportation options, including rental car arrangements and shuttle services.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail while assisting customers and establishing scheduled service times. If necessary, the Service Advisor will liaise with the dispatcher.

  • Completion of onboarding process shortly after application
