Job Title: Vendor Management Program Lead

Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a highly skilled Vendor Management Program Lead to join our Acquisitions and Contracts Business Management Office. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our small business program, identifying opportunities for small business participation, and developing strategies to expand our business supplier base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Mission Organizations: Collaborate with our mission organizations to understand the requirements of the Small Business Program and identify opportunities for small business participation.
  • Market Analysis: Perform market analysis, including Expression of Interest support, to help identify adequate resources for small business opportunities.
  • Acquisition Staff Engagement: Engage with acquisition staff to ensure small business and solicitation requirements are being met.
  • Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify opportunities to strategically use small business in successful completion of INL missions.
  • Supplier Development: Actively engage with small businesses seeking to support INL missions and implement a vendor management strategy.
  • Contracting Mechanisms: Assess utilization of different contracting mechanisms to incentivize new vendor participation in solicitations.
  • Networking: Actively participate in small business conferences as a presenter and in networking situations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
  • Experience: 5 or more years of relevant experience, or 2 or more years with a Master's degree.
  • Skills: Excellent public speaking skills, ability to plan and manage multiple projects, and strategic thinking to mature an existing program.

  • Compensation: The pay range for this position is a level 440 ($75,804 - $155,496).
