Planned Giving Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gift Planning Officer to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a key member of the Gift Planning Unit, you will play a vital role in securing planned gifts and establishing the Red Cross as the charity of choice for such gifts. The successful candidate will develop, design, and implement the planned giving program for the Northern California Regions, focusing on new gift commitments. This includes identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gift planning prospects and donors in the Region.
Key Accountabilities
* Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase funding capacity and maximize donor relationships
* Build strong relationships with existing and prospective donors to secure planned gifts
* Collaborate with the Director of Gift Planning to develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, non-profit management, marketing)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in planned giving, development, or a related field
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
