Fire Alarm Systems Technician

At Briscoe Protective, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting routine installations, providing servicing, and inspecting fire alarms and associated low voltage systems.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Servicing: Install, service, and inspect security alarms and associated low voltage systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet prescribed standards.
- System Testing and Inspection: Conduct thorough testing and inspection of security systems to identify any issues or defects.
- Emergency Troubleshooting: Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers' security equipment to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Service Tickets and Reports: Prepare accurate and timely service tickets and reports to document work completed and any issues encountered.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and communication with customers, administration, sales, and management.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Communication: Interface successfully with administration, sales, customers, and management within the company, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience and/or NICET certification preferred.
- Skills: Ability to install, inspect, or service security alarms required; familiarity with one or more of the following product lines (Honeywell, DSC, Napco, Hikvision, Keyscan, Door King, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP) a plus.
- Customer Service: Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work with small tools and equipment; must have a clean driving record and a valid Driver's License.
- Language: Must read and speak English.
