Job Summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, programming, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, program, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems with limited or no supervision.
  • May require overtime hours at night, on weekends, and at a moment's notice for emergency calls.
  • Coordinate with contractors, customers, building maintenance personnel, and office personnel to execute daily workload.
  • Identify code issues and non-conformance issues.
  • Make recommendations regarding system installation improvements.
  • Respond to and complete troubleshooting and repairs on assigned customer systems.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; industry experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA Requirements, and Industry Standards for Fire Alarm systems installation.
  • Experience with various system manufacturing, including Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Firelite, etc.
