Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer

The Principal Cloud Systems Architect is an experienced expert with a minimum of 10 years in cloud computing and infrastructure management, focusing on the design, deployment, monitoring, and recovery processes to ensure seamless operations. This role is particularly tailored for those with a specialization in finance or cryptocurrency within the tech sector, showcasing leadership in troubleshooting, driving coding standards, and implementing scalable and secure software solutions in areas such as trading, compliance, fraud prevention, and automation.

Key Qualifications
- Experience in the fintech industry, with a solid understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and security protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities within financial technology environments.
- Proficient in managing and coordinating tasks among multiple team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively across product, engineering, and other departments.
- Adept at conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must reside within the Americas or Europe (between time zones UTC-8 and UTC+3).
- Proven track record of over 10 years in cloud and infrastructure management, particularly in high-availability production environments utilizing AWS or Azure.
- Extensive experience with container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated expertise in maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines and provisioning tools.
- Solid background in Linux system administration.
- Expertise in configuring, managing, and monitoring cloud infrastructure resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Strong knowledge in incident management and risk mitigation for auto-scalable applications across distributed regions.
- Familiarity with Git and branching strategies for effective team collaboration.
- Hands-on experience in release management and cloud architecture on platforms like AWS or Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of network security, including traffic encryption, authentication protocols, firewalls, VPN configurations, and SSH tunnels.
- Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Python and Golang is highly regarded.
- A comprehensive understanding of economic principles and finance, including swaps, escrows, scalping, staking, lending, as well as DeFi and Machine Learning applications for online service troubleshooting.
- Develop production-ready, testable, and well-documented code while addressing edge cases.
- Assess team development methodologies, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the team's domain, services, interactions, and data flows.
- Apply design patterns for scalable applications, anticipating future modifications.
- Conduct systematic debugging within the relevant domain.
- Ensure that epics and projects are clearly defined, prioritized, and comprehended by the team.
- Facilitate clear communication with other teams, promoting effective and targeted interactions.
- Encourage documentation and knowledge sharing within the team and with stakeholders.
