A forward-thinking technology solutions firm is seeking a Lead Cloud Operations Engineer to spearhead the transition of on-premises systems to the Azure cloud platform.

This role commences as a contract-to-hire opportunity, initiating with a 6-month contract before evolving into a full-time position.

Join a newly formed team dedicated to Azure implementation and upkeep, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping their cloud strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be expected to:

  • Guide and mentor team members in cloud migration initiatives.
  • Implement and manage Kubernetes environments.
  • Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Azure cloud adoption strategies
- Expertise in Terraform
- Strong background in Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Infrastructure management

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with custom resource definitions
- Familiarity with custom controllers
- Understanding of service mesh technologies
